Pure Italian saffron stems
Our Saffron is grown without the use of chemicals (we are awaiting organic certification): it is harvested and processed totally by hand, and dried on the day of harvesting, to best preserve its color and aroma.
For best results the stems must be left to infuse in a warm liquid (depending on the recipe) for at least 30 minutes before use. The jar in which the saffron stems are stored must be kept tightly closed and protected from light, humidity and heat sources. If properly stored, the product has a shelf life of 5 years
